About The Role
As a Communications and Engagement Apprentice, you will support the team in delivering community engagement initiatives, assist with media and campaign activities, manage digital content, and help with internal and external communications. You will develop networks with council teams, residents, and external partners, working independently on key projects.
Candidate Profile
We seek someone with excellent communication skills, good IT skills (video creation experience is a plus), attention to detail, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. An interest in public relations, marketing, or communications is essential. Creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to personal development are highly valued.
Minimum Requirements
* GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English, with original certificates or willingness to complete assessments.
* Unrelated qualification level in subject to the apprenticeship.
* No current funded apprenticeship or higher/further education enrollment.
* Legal right to work/study in England, with residency in the UK or EEA for at least three years.
Additional Information
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, not in full-time education, and motivated to succeed. The apprenticeship lasts at least 12 months, offers 23 days paid leave, and a starting salary of £25,999 per annum.
