The role:
As a Building Surveyor, you will be involved in a wide variety of professional and project services.
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct condition surveys, building inspections, and prepare detailed reports
* Prepare schedules of dilapidations and negotiate settlements
* Undertake technical due diligence and acquisition surveys
* Provide expert advice on building regulations, health and safety, and sustainability issues
* Manage client relationships and ensure service excellence
Requirements the Building Surveyor should have:
* 2-5 years' post-qualification experience preferred
* Strong background in commercial property (offices, retail, industrial)
* Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of building pathology
* Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
* Experience working within a consultancy or professional services environment is ideal
