Job Description:
We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning. The ideal candidate is currently a paraplanner but wants to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The role involves supporting two advisors, learning the business, and gradually taking on client-facing responsibilities.
This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within, offering development pathways, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for a succession plan, as one of the partners plans to retire in a few years and wants to hand over the business and clients to the adviser team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Onboarding new clients and supporting in servicing existing clients
* Supporting financial advisors in client meetings
* Sending out letters of authority
* Liaising with product providers
* Working closely with the administrator
* General administrative duties as needed
The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning/junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to perform a dual paraplanning/junior adviser role until fully integrated into the firm. They should also aim to work towards chartered status and be eager to join a supportive and busy team.
