Your role and responsibilities
As an Apprentice Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience supporting various functions within the Framework team. You\'ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of on-site projects, developing vital skills in areas such as setting out, cost control, and record keeping. Your responsibilities will include assisting with method statements, conducting site visits, and gradually taking on supervisory tasks, all while upholding our commitment to health, safety, and quality standards. Occasional travel or periods of working away from home may be necessary.
Collaboration and relationships
You'll collaborate closely with the project team, including the Site Manager and other professionals, to understand project execution and contract details. Building strong relationships with team members, suppliers, and local communities will be essential as you engage in meetings, workshops, and foster a culture of collaboration and respect. Your role will also involve contributing to design management and cost estimating, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers effectively.
About you
We\'re looking for enthusiastic individuals who have achieved a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths and possess the necessary UCAS points for a Degree Level Apprenticeship. Your adaptability, teamwork, and strong communication skills will enable you to express ideas clearly and contribute positively to the team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn will help you thrive in this role as you embrace opportunities for personal and professional development.
Your qualifications
Requirements include GCSE level 4 or above in Maths and English, the necessary UCAS points to enrol on a Degree Level Apprenticeship, and a Full UK Licence (preferred).
