GSL Education are searching for an experienced English Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S5 and S9 areas. The English Teacher will deliver lessons that foster reading, writing, and analytical skills across a range of key stages. Main Duties of English Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the curriculum. Support students in developing reading comprehension and writing skills. Encourage discussion, interpretation, and critical analysis of texts. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching English in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
