About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols to enhance our organization's network infrastructure. You will work alongside a talented team of engineers, tackling exciting challenges and ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network solutions using your expertise in IP networking.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
Manage and optimize Cisco routers, including 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network performance and reliability.
Analyze network traffic and performance metrics using tools like netflow and other diagnostic tools.
Ensure the security and integrity of the network through IPSEC, VPNs, and TACACS protocols.What You Bring:
Extensive IP Networking Experience: A strong foundation in IP protocols with in-depth knowledge of BGP and OSPF.
Router Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, specifically the 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx series.
Robust Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex networking issues.
Familiarity with Key Technologies: Expertise in DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3, OC48), VLANs, IPv4, IPv6, TCP, HSRP, GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, and more.
