SF Recruitment are supporting a fantastic organisation based in Birmingham who are looking to onboard a Systems Accountant. Supporting the Group Financial Controller you will join the project at its inception playing a lead role in initial fact finding, sourcing a fit for purpose system and managing the implementation. This is a brilliant role with a flexible and supportive organisation.
The successful candidate will be qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and ideally have experience with SAP. Key tasks: - Act as the lead contact for all finance system-related issues and improvements. - Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to manage and enhance ERP systems.
- Drive the successful implementation of a new ERP system, including testing, integration, and training. - Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying automation opportunities.- Ensure financial data integrity and deliver impactful reporting via tools like Power BI. - Provide training and ongoing support to users, with clear documentation and user guides.
What You'll Bring: - Strong experience in financial systems management and ERP implementation (SAP and successors). - A collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - A background in finance/accounting with strong analytical abilities and a process-driven approach.
