Job Description
OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Plater for our client located in Scunthorpe. This is a long term contract position.
Job purpose:
- To carry out fabrication / plating and associated activities in accordance with line management instructions
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the Instructions and Documentation, relevant Quality Standards, Risk Assessment, Safety Method Statement and other relevant specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings and other documents as required
- Select tools, equipment and supplies needed for the welding they have been assigned to
- Completing activities as required following proper practices and appropriate fabrication procedures
- Using safety equipment in various places as required
- Working as part of the crew or team to complete the project within the timeline indicated by the supervisor or line manager
- Attending trainings and classes to keep up to date on the latest technology and techniques
- Follow the Company health, safety and environmental procedures
- Any other reasonable duties as decided by the supervisor or line manager
