Senior Transport Planner - Scotts Fuels / Lisburn Fuels / Scotts Lubricants We require a Senior transport planner to join our team based in Head Office. This is a prime opportunity for a career minded & ambitious individual to join one of NI largest fuels & lubricants businesses with over 75yrs experience delivering products throughout NI. Key Roles: - Communicating with drivers to ensure deliveries are completed as per schedule & any issues that arise are dealt with in a timely manner. - Plan & Schedule delivery routes for drivers daily to make them as efficient as possible. - Ensure driver performance is effectively managed. - Maintain Compliance with relevant regulations & safety standards. - Work with maintenance team to ensure vehicle services, maintenance & safety checks are completed as per schedule. - Review transport plans & data to help with continuous improvement on route optimization. - Manage the Transport team, drivers, ensure all operations are running smoothly and sort out any issues that may arise in a timely manner. Skills & experience - 3-5yrs experience in transport industry. - Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail. - Proficient IT Skills in Microsoft Excel & transport Management systems. - Excellent written & verbal communication skills. - A proactive & customer focused approach. - Good geographical knowledge of NI. Hours Mon - Fri 08.30 - 17.30 (With one early finish per week) Sat 09.00-12.30 (Paid above salary on a rota basis one in 5 average) Salary Up to £45k per annum (Experience & Suitability dependent) We are an equal opportunity employer
