We are currently seeking a School Mental Health Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Bletchley, with roles available to start immediately or from September, depending on your availability.
This is a fantastic opportunity for recent or soon-to-be Psychology or Criminology graduates looking to develop their experience working with young people with complex needs. The school supports students with a range of needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and challenging behaviour.
You'll be part of a dedicated and supportive team working to create a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment. While any prior experience working with children or young people is beneficial, we welcome applications from individuals with the right mindset, empathy, and enthusiasm for making a difference.
The school is particularly keen to hear from candidates who can commit to the role for at least 12 months, as building trust and consistency is key to supporting the pupils' development.
This role would suit anyone considering a long-term career in education, psychology, or therapy, and is a great step into roles such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or Mental Health Practitioner.
