Overview
We’re looking for a passionate, detail-driven HR Adviser to join our HR Services team. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of work, providing expert advice and guidance across a full range of HR matters. This includes employee relations casework and leading on key lifecycle processes such as sickness absence management, immigration, and fixed-term contract reviews.
You’ll play a vital role in delivering a progressive, inclusive and high‑quality employment experience across the full employee journey from probation to retirement.
Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated HR support to assigned areas of the University
* Advise and coach managers and staff to resolve issues early and enhance employee experience
* Lead on core HR processes and casework, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance
* Collaborate with colleagues across the HR department to support broader HR initiatives and projects
* Contribute to continuous improvement and data-driven decision‑making

* Has HR experience in a large, complex organisation
* Is committed to outstanding customer service and precision
* Brings a proactive, solution‑focused approach to problem‑solving
