The Role
As our Management Accountant, you will play a key role in shaping the financial insights that guide our decision-making. This is not just about reporting numbers — it is about telling the story behind them, spotting opportunities, and helping us grow sustainably.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports. Including Profit & Loss + Balance Sheet, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Accrual and Prepayment Schedules.
* Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
* Cash flow forecasting.
* Management of Fixed Assets and calculating depreciation
* VAT returns
* Calculating Rebates
* Providing clear, actionable insights to support business strategy.
* Working closely with leadership teams to drive efficiencies and profitability.
* Supporting year-end processes, audits, and compliance requirements.
* Continuously reviewing processes to improve accuracy and speed.
What We are Looking For
We would love to hear from you if you bring:
* A professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or working towards it. AAT Qualified and qualified by experience will also be considered.
* Proven experience in management accounting, ideally in a challenging environment.
* Strong Excel and financial modelling skills (experience with accounting software a plus).
* Excellent communication skills — you can translate financial data into real-world impact.
* An initiative-taking mindset with a passion for problem-solving and adding value.
* A supportive team member who can work effectively with colleagues across the Group.
