Property Specialist – Local Authority, South Coast (Island-Based Role) 400 PAYE / £525 Umbrella / Deemed LTD (Inside IR35) 22 hours per week (3 days) Initial 3 month contract Overview of the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Property Specialist to join a local authority's Asset Management team for a part-time interim assignment. The post is for 3 days a week (22 hours) over an initial 12-20-week period, with potential for extension. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction on the management, optimisation, acquisition, and disposal of the Council’s land and property assets. This is a hybrid role, with remote working supported—however, site visits on the Island will be required, and applicants must have their own vehicle. Car ferry travel costs across the Solent will be covered. Responsibilities Lead on the delivery of the Council’s property strategy, overseeing land and property asset management, acquisition, and disposal activities.
