An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Team Leader based at Glenapp, Ailsa Hospital.
What you will do:
An opportunity has arisen within the community for a fixed-term part-time Clinical Team Leader post within District Nursing Team 10 based at North Ayr Health Centre, Ayr. You will have experience working as a qualified registered Nurse and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a variety of client groups in the community setting. Understand and demonstrate evidence-based knowledge of care assurance, quality improvement methodology and governance structures associated within community nursing

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will be responsible for the operational management of the community nursing team including professional/clinical supervision and deployment of staff. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community. You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training. A Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing or completion of relevant further education is desirable. Previous community experience is essential. Leadership experience is essential with development/secondment applicants being considered.
