We are looking for an enthusiastic Supply Chain (EBU Customer Services) student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Supply Laison business unit in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
1. Own monthly shop order obsolescence activities to keep order proliferation at an acceptable level
2. Analyze and interpret data to draw conclusions to improve business processes and preparing key performance indicators to present to senior management
3. Gain exposure to global logistics, sales and marketing, supply chain finance
4. Maintain accurate records of all internal and external interactions in the appropriate database/system
5. Prepare and distribute standard and customized internal and customer reports
6. Supporting the Customer Order Management departmental goals and initiatives to become a more proactive customer support organization
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
7. Enrolled on a Business or Supply Chain focused degree which includes a 12-month industry placement
8. Previous customer or supplier facing work experience is beneficial but not essential
9. Can use analytical thinking to address problems by investigating, analyzing and working collaboratively with other internal cross-functional departments to provide resolution/improvements
10. Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel (Pivot and VLOOKUP), including strong communication (written and oral) and time management skills
