As our new Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll be the go-to for all things purchase ledger. From processing invoices to responding to queries and ensuring payments are made on time, your eye for detail and proactive approach will be key. We are looking for someone with solid purchase ledger experience (essential), and if you've got your AAT Level 2, even better! In return, you'll join a passionate, friendly team with history, heart, and a bold vision for the future.


What we are looking for:

* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
* Good IT literacy - competent use of Outlook and Excel
* Knowledge & experience of Business Central and Continia is desirable
* Knowledge & experience of VAT and CIS is desirable
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Depending on experience, responsibility for CIS compliance and training
* Ability to recognize when escalation of a matter is required
* Experience in processing a high volume of invoices
* Positive, friendly attitude and a team player
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Computer proficiency
* Enthusiasm for learning new technology and systems
* Awareness of the confidential nature of the role
* Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
