Seeking both Senior and Principal Engineers.
What You’ll Be Doing: Manage and deliver design work across multiple infrastructure schemes, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Define engineering approaches and ensure consistent application throughout project lifecycles. Lead negotiations for technical approvals (e.g. S104, S38, S278 agreements). Make sure all designs align with relevant codes, standards, and best practices. Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.
What You’ll Bring: You’ll have a solid foundation in civil engineering design, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
* Proficient in highway and ground modelling design
* Competent in drainage design and hydraulic analysis, including SuDS principles
* Experienced in setting external levels, factoring in accessibility (e.g. Part M compliance)
* Strong grasp of industry standards, codes of practice, and health & safety regulations
Software Experience:
* AutoCAD
* PDS or XP Site 3D (or similar)
* MicroDrainage (Windes/Flow) or equivalent
* MS Office Suite
Experience & Education:
* Ideally 5–10+ years in a civil engineering consultancy environment
* Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline
