Part-Time Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor / Featherstone / £14 - £16 per hour (DOE) About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time HSE Advisor to join our team on a temporary 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental practices, particularly in conducting and reviewing risk assessments. You'll play a key role in ensuring our workplace remains compliant, safe, and aligned with best practices. Key Responsibilities: Risk Assessments Conduct and review risk assessments across various departments. Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend control measures. Ensure assessments are up-to-date and effectively implemented.Policy & Procedure Development Assist in drafting and updating HSE policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.Compliance Monitoring Perform audits and inspections to ensure adherence to HSE protocols. Report non-compliance and suggest improvements.Training & Awareness Support the creation and delivery of HSE training materials. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of assessments, audits, and training. Prepare regular HSE performance reports for management.What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a similar HSE role. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
