The Science Department
The Science department is well-established and driven by collaboration, innovation, and a love of learning. Your Role
As a Science ECT, you’ll take full ownership of your classes, delivering purposeful and engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students. You’ll contribute to the development of innovative teaching resources and be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the department’s ongoing evolution.
You will:

Teach Key Stage 3 Science and your specialist subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at Key Stage 4

Take part in weekly ECT mentoring meetings and CPD sessions
*
Offer effective assessment and feedback to support student progress
*
Participate in extracurricular STEM activities or science events
*
Engage in collaborative planning and reflective practice alongside colleagues
