Looking for a role where your expertise can truly make an impact? We’re on the hunt for a Business Analyst to join our Digital and Innovation Team at Northern Powergrid on an FTC for a period of 8 months.

You will support the Data & Reporting Manager to provide analytical support for the business priorities across the Health, Safety and Training directorate which includes incident reporting and analysis, production of key performance information and embedding technological and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the designing of and embedding reporting process improvement initiatives.
* Development of reports within PowerBI and analysis of monthly reporting and performance data.
* Preparation and validation of leading and lagging safety data and provision of analysed data to Northern Powergrid and BHE including; Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Safety Performance Reporting for Executive, BHE and external governing bodies
* Supporting the Health, Safety & Training Department with compliance of governance and controls around ISO-45001
* Assisting with effectively delivering information and performance measures on all key activities.
* Providing information and communication with managers around safety performance
* Leading, supporting and providing guidance to managers within the wider Health, Safety and Training team to deliver their required responsibilities, providing analysis, interpretation and evaluation of findings.
* Leading, guiding and providing support to the team ensuring all targets, safety, customer service and business needs are coordinated.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* 2 A Levels or NVQ Level 4 or HNC
* IT and Analytical experience
* Substantial experience using Microsoft Excel
* Excellent customer service experience
* Experience with process mapping
* Experience using Power BI reporting
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* BTEC Data Analyst qualification
* Relevant experience in a similar Analyst role
* Experience of working with and querying SQL Databases
* Experience of operating in a Financial or Commercial environment
* Experience working with external service providers
* Experience using Power BI reporting
