Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in producing timely insights, analysis, and business intelligence to drive performance and support the working capital cycle for projects.
2. Assist in delivering accurate month-end management reporting on time, including project reporting outputs and analysis of in-year financial performance.
3. Support project teams with setup, claims, cash forecasting, foreign currency hedge management, order book management, reporting, and analysis.
4. Maintain effective financial controls aligned with the Financial Control Framework and Finance Policies manual. Support audits as required.
5. Identify and implement process improvements within Project Finance and support digital reporting advancements as part of Finance Modernisation.
6. Contribute to system enhancements and promote a data-centric and digital culture.
7. Ensure skills and experience meet business needs and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.


Candidate Requirements

* Studying towards a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW). Note: AAT is not accepted.
* Previous accounting experience with an eagerness to develop in Project Finance, forecasting, and reporting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Some knowledge of accounting processes and systems, with a willingness to learn.
* Interest in understanding the wider business and value delivery.
* Ability to recognize process or system issues and take appropriate action.
* Familiarity with local procedures and problem-solving skills.


Desirable Skills

* Stakeholder relationship management skills.
* Experience with MRPs or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Infor LN) and analytical tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau).
