Weeks 1 & 2: Monday – Thursday | 7am – 7pm
Weeks 3 & 4: Wednesday – Saturday | 7am – 7pm

Their operation includes a modern fleet of over 160 vehicles, 500+ trailers and tankers, supported by continuous investment in facilities, tooling, and staff development. Due to sustained growth and continued success, they are now expanding their engineering team and seeking a skilled HGV Welder / Fabricator to join their Glasgow depot.
About the HGV Welder / Fabricator Role
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role focused on high-quality fabrication and structural welding within a commercial vehicle maintenance and refurbishment environment.
You will be responsible for:
Welding and fabrication of commercial vehicle bodies and chassis
Structural repair and refurbishment work
Fabrication of steel components for trucks, trailers, and tankers
Working from engineering drawings to produce accurate builds
Ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship
What We’re Looking For
The successful HGV Welder / Fabricator will have:
Proven experience in medium to heavy steel fabrication and welding (2mm – 10mm)
Ability to build, tack, and fully weld fabrications from drawings
Strong fault-finding ability with attention to detail in fabricated structures
Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Experience working on trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
A professional, safety-focused, and quality-driven approach to work
