We are currently working with a school who are seeking SEN Teachers to start both day-to-day and fixed term contracts with the possibility of permanency for the right candidate.
Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details
1. Location – Mountain Ash
2. Position – SEN Teacher
3. Type of work – 1:1 and small group teaching.
4. Start date – ASAP
5. Likely Duration – Ongoing
6. Position end date – Unknown
7. Contract type – Temporary
8. Full-time potential – Yes
9. Minimum rate of pay – £
10. Hours – 8:30am-15:00 (term time only and times may vary)
Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications
11. It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
12. It is essential that you have SEN experience working in Primary or Secondary Education.
13. Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
14. You will need to have a qualification within Education and Team Teach is desired but not essential as training can be provided.
15. Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
16. Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

18. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
19. Provide two professional child related references.
