Job Advert We are a busy team delivering the Supported Internships programme at Mencap. The programme is based around employment for young adults with learning disabilities between the ages of 16 and 25. We help people to develop skills for work in a employment setting and build their confidence. What will you be doing? You will be helping to promote social skills and reducing social isolation by supporting people to enjoy activities out and about in the community, such as: Going to a local café Browsing the shops Going for a walk Going to the cinema Supporting a hobby Creative activities Sports activities JOB ID: 34249 Benefits Volunteering in this role is a great way to make a difference to someone’s life, supporting their wellbeing and enriching their life.
