Role Overview
The BCA Logistics Senior Data Analyst is a key role within the Analysis & Insights team, working closely with other data analysts and directly with the BCAL business to provide operational efficiency, quality, and planning insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide stakeholders with reports and analysis to drive business performance and communicate findings with clear recommendations.
2. Optimize all reporting, analysis, and dashboards for efficiency throughout the data flow.
3. Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs and identify how data can support improved performance.
4. Support workload management between project work and ad hoc requests.
5. Collaborate with the wider Analysis & Insights team and maintain documentation for reports.
6. Stay updated with industry trends and pursue professional development.
7. Participate in team discussions and business projects to share learnings.
Key Skills
1. Ability to use data to identify business opportunities and impact revenue and profit.
2. Strong analytical skills with storytelling ability and clear communication.
3. Experience building relationships with stakeholders and understanding business needs.
4. Autonomous and team-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities.
5. Experience developing data analysis solutions from scratch.
6. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, DAX, and Power Platform.
7. Excellent communication skills, confident presenting to senior management, including C-suite.
Desirable Skills
1. Proven data analysis experience.
2. Experience with DevOps.
3. Degree in Computing, Mathematics, or Statistics.
