Senior Laboratory Technician - Microscopy
We offercommercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritionaland health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging and cereals and ingredients, andwines and spirits
What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for undertaking a range of microscopy investigations which can include foreign bodies, screening products for the presence of foreign/extraneous matter, imaging, packaging and bespoke client requests.
* Interpret analytical data
* Prepare and issue technical reports on investigation
* Consult with and assist clients with the work required or interpretation of results
* Assist with the return of samples and associated activities when required
* Provide technical support and advice to colleagues if required
* Work in a safe manner in accordance with departmental policies
* To keep neat and orderly records of results and other relevant information
What we're looking for
* A background in SEM (Scanning electron microscopy)
* Great attention to detail
* Able to commute to Chipping Campden five days a week
* Own own vehicle and valid UK Driving License
