We are the owners of 59 residential mobile home parks across England and Wales. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Estates Manager to join our head office at West Coker, Yeovil.
The role of the Estates Manager is to work closely with the MD and wider business, managing, planning and co-ordinating to deliver the business needs and ensure our portfolio of parks are maintained, developed and invested in to ensure compliance, and the company objectives.
Main Responsibilities: -
Day to Day Management of the parks portfolio from an estates function
* Manage the Estates Team to deliver:
* Annual test, inspect and compliance
* Annual maintenance and servicing
* Reactive maintenance and repairs
* Carry out asset evaluation reports & recommendations
* Ensure the utilities & infrastructure are maintained, compliant and managed
* Manage & deliver on capital property projects and refurbishments
* Liaise with third parties (solicitors, surveyors, valuers, consultants, landlords, agents)
* Work closely with the management team on wider business initiative & projects
* Develop a close working relationship with the park teams ensuring our residents receive a high level of customer service & experience
* To carry out any other duties that are reasonably requested to support the business.
·Full Time – 37.5 Hours - Monday – Friday
Yeovil Head Office based
Overnight stays will be required to deliver the role due to the park network across England and Wales
* Proven experience in a similar property or estates management role
* Understanding of contracts, construction legislation, compliance, and H&S
* Strong communication skills, able to work at all levels
* Excellent verbal and written skills – with the ability to write business reports and proposals
* RICS or equivalent qualification (preferable)
* Knowledge of residential park home or holiday park industry would be desirable
