Job Description
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and safety-conscious LV Electric Supervisor to join our team in Kent. In this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that all Low Voltage electricity networks are installed to a high standard, in line with TriConnex method statements, DNO/IDNO specifications, and all relevant safety protocols.Reporting directly to the Senior Electrical Supervisor, you will lead the daily activities of LV operatives, overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of work on site. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in LV operations, team supervision, and a commitment to developing others.What will I be doing?Overseeing all LV installation activities across designated projectsSupervising and managing site personnel, ensuring work is carried out to the required standardAssessing potentially hazardous situations and taking proactive action to maintain a safe working environmentConducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections of the workplace, tools, equipment, and vehiclesSupporting the training and development of TriConnex personnel working toward authorised statusAssisting in the testing and commissioning of LV distribution systemsUnderstanding and checking local network anomalies, including phase rotationCoordinating with SAPs and other teams where required to support safe working on or near live networksEnsuring compliance with TriConnex Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental proceduresAccurately recording details of work undertaken and maintaining site recordsSupporting operational planning and coordination with Operations Managers and Project PlannersPromoting and driving a positive safety culture throughout the teamWhat do you need to have?Proven experience working in a supervisory position within the electrical or utilities industryLV Authorised Person statusPrevious experience working on or adjacent to distribution networks under Safety RulesStrong knowledge of LV jointing, installations, and relevant DNO/IDNO standardsExperience in mentoring and developing electrical operativesA collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external partnersExcellent understanding of health & safety legislation and best practiceDesirable:Previous experience with substation or switchgear installationsNRSWA, SMSTS, and CSCS/SHEA certificationManual Handling & First Aid CertificatesFull UK Driving LicenseOur Benefits:Our company is devoted to ensuring our staff receives a comprehensive selection of rewards and perks.
