Starting at £15.37 ph raising to £18.83 including Shift Allowance
Shift Patterns
Are all Monday to Friday and will vary depending on your assigned area, with rotations including mornings, afternoons and nights. You can see an example of a shift pattern you could be required to work below, please note you must be able to work all 3 shift rotations:
Example shift pattern:
Week 1: Mornings: 6.00 - 13.30 Mon - Thurs, 6.00 to 12.00 Friday
Week 2: Afternoons: 13.30 - 21.00 Mon - Thurs, 12.00 to 18.00 Friday
Week 3: Nights: 21.00 to 06.00 Mon -Thurs

Here's what you will be doing:
8. Support the operational team in the completion of vehicle production targets and to ensure scorecard metrics such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment are met
9. Contribute to the achievement of the Integrated Production System, Manufacturing Quality Operating Standard and Launch Quality Operating System processes
10. Support the creation of and adhere to standardised work instructions
11. Contribute to improvement ideas to work group
12. Take responsibility for Health and Safety of self and others
13. Ensure quality of own work is maintained at all times
14. Raise concerns and ask questions to solve problems, when necessary escalate issues through appropriate channel
15. Responsible for the maintenance of and improvement of 5s standards in the area
16. Adhere to company-wide and site specific policies
17. Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
18. Has a driving license as the role will require moving vehicles
19. Computer literate as they will have to lift holds on D42 (JLR system) and update excel sheets
20. Associate has to audit colour harmony issues so being able to do that is essential as they have to pass a Munsell Test
21. There will also be general inspection for, technical paint, colour harmony, fit and finish of parts
Essential:
22. Previous experience of meeting deadlines and quality targets in Manufacturing
23. Ability to follow detailed working instructions
24. Attention to detail
25. Knowledge and experience of delivering safety metrics
26. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Desirable:
27. Knowledge of Quality Operating Systems procedures and deliverables
28. Exposure to continuous improvement / lean tools
