About the Role
At Manchester Digital, focus on understanding people and building awareness of how our products and services can deliver their needs. The Product Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing plans, manage and inspire a direct and indirect team, handle day-to-day marketing activities, long-term strategy, and product marketing initiatives under tight deadlines to meet changing needs.
The role includes implementing clearly defined product marketing processes, delivering tactical marketing initiatives to support the Rail Technology product portfolios, and leading the marketing team as it expands. Focus areas include brand promotion through events and exhibitions, digital communications, and networking with customers and industry peers.
What You Will Do
* Build a robust marketing plan focused on key marketing drivers, leading to increased leads and sales opportunities.
* Oversee and approve marketing material.
* Implement a customer NPS program, collating and reporting results. Develop the marketing strategy for each product within our portfolios.
* Ensure product messaging focuses on addressing market needs and demonstrating value to drive demand and product adoption.
* Understand each product’s value proposition and develop compelling messages for all product-related collateral.
* Develop user and buyer personas.
* Create product collateral for multiple geographic markets, used by the sales team and for industry events.
* Maintain up-to-date product-specific marketing and sales collateral within a central content library.
* Develop a marketing launch process with categorization, templates, timelines, and readiness checklists.
* Collaborate with the Head of Product to drive activities needed to support the marketing launch process.
* Lead external relations and corporate communications; oversee internal communications for significant updates and group-wide messages.
* Create consistent content to promote our brand and products, including press releases, white papers, corporate announcements, and other creative content.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in marketing with the potential and attitude to learn.
* Proven ability to identify target audiences and devise multi-channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.
* Knowledge of product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Pendo, Hotjar, Heap, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
* Numerically literate; comfortable analyzing metrics and using spreadsheets.
* A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.
* Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
* Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
