About the Role
In this position, you will carry out full MOT testing alongside general mechanical work in a well equipped workshop. Your day to day will include performing DVSA compliant MOT inspections, diagnosing faults, undertaking repairs, and servicing vehicles across different classes.

Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 08:30 17:00
* Saturdays: 1 in every 3, 08:30 13:00
Key Duties
* Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements.
* Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults; carry out repairs and servicing.
* Complete accurate documentation and report findings clearly.
* Work collaboratively to schedule MOTs, repairs, and customer bookings.
* Maintain workshop standards ; tool care, safety compliance, and housekeeping.
* Occasionally assist with customer handovers or other workshop activities.
Key Requirements
* Valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 minimum; Class 5/7 advantageous).
* Proven experience as a vehicle technician, ideally with MOT experience.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a range of vehicle types.
* Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
