About the Role:
We are seeking a HGV Waste Water Operative to join our team on our United Utilities workstream.
* Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston
* Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. Overtime is available as per business needs
* Salary: Up to £36,946 (DOE)

Responsibilities - but not limited to:
* You will be working closely with a Waste water Operative to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
* Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales
* Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
* Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting
* Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
* Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
* Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
* Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Requirements for the role:
* HGV Class 2 licence (required)
* Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points
Desirable:
* Experience with working on a Recycler
* Experience of high-pressure water jetting is essential
* Competent in IT, accurate data entry
* Team player
* Positive, can-do attitude
Full training will be given in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces.
