About the Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our hotel. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming, contributing directly to a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standard
* Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed
* Report maintenance issues or lost property promptly
* Work closely with the housekeeping team and other departments to meet daily targets
* Follow all health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations
* Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely
What We're Looking For:
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential – full training provided
* A keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good time management and reliability
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as required
