Overview
Recovery Hub - Recovery Champion. This role involves working with people accessing our treatment service in a brand new, purpose-built space. You will help create a welcoming, calm, safe and supportive environment for individuals on their recovery journey, providing a friendly face and reassuring presence.
Participants may access a lounge/TV area, gym, assistance with job applications and searching, clothes washing/drying facilities, and access to clothing and hygiene products for men and women. You will work on your own initiative while also collaborating as part of a team to ensure people feel valued and welcome.
Opening hours for the Recovery Hub will vary: Monday to Friday 12pm–8pm and Saturday–Sunday 10am–2pm.
Responsibilities
* Supporting with the day-to-day running of the Recovery Hub, including setting up spaces and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
* Work closely with staff and other volunteers.
* Get involved in activities, groups, or events as appropriate.
* Signpost people to the right service, activities or staff members.
* Assist with creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere in the hub.
* Provide informal support and listen without judgement.
* Build a positive, non-judgemental relationship with those using our Recovery Hub.

* Follow Change Grow Live’s procedures and standards, including health and safety and equal opportunities, in relation to our staff, volunteers and clients.
* Maintain the confidential information of Change Grow Live and of our clients; adhering to Change Grow Live’s policies and procedures.
* Meet the time commitments and standards which have been mutually agreed and to give reasonable notice so other arrangements can be made when this is not possible.
