A Lead Project Manager (events/exhibitions) is required to lead a small project managerment team for this expanding events/exhibition company based in South Warwickshire. This is a new role, and the day to day activities of the Lead Project Manager consists of managing a variety of different projects and clients to oversee all aspects from handover to completion. Hybrid working (2 days from home) after a short qualifying period. Flexible working hours can be considered. Frequent travel to the NEC and Excel Arena, and very occasional European work will be required. Occasional stays away from base should be expected, as well as some weekend work. The salary for the successful Lead Project Manager is up to £38,000 dep on experience and skillset commission of circa £6k-£10k pa. Responsibilities of the Lead Project Manager:- * Lead the Project Management team ensuring all policies are adhered to. * Take overall accountability for the seamless delivery of all projects to the highest standard, from their inception to completion; meeting clients, finding solutions to fit their needs and budgets, in collaboration with senior management. * Budget control on events. * Manage training and development of the PM team. * Key point of contact/resolution for any escalated issues relating to job delivery. * Identify areas for opportunity within the PM team and take ownership of any required changes or training and development needs. * Sub-contractor and labour management on projects. * Health and Safety – a working knowledge of the events/exhibition industry health and safety best practice is required. * Full project responsibility. * Liaison with suppliers. The successful Lead Project Manager will have:- * Experience in events or exhibitions is essential. * This is a hands-on role requiring both on site and office work. * Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role. * Good numeracy and literacy are vital. * Must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Must be computer literate with experience of Word, Excel and Power Point. * Self motiivation and strong attention to detail. * Marketing and social media experience is desirable. * Experience of working on site is desirable. * Driving licence is essential. * Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.
