Trainee Machine Operator

Hunters’ client, a well-established manufacturing business, are now looking for a Trainee Machine Operator to join their production team. Full training will be provided.
Trainee Machine Operator - The Role
Set up and operate production machinery to manufacture corrugated packaging products
Carry out start-of-shift safety checks and ensure equipment is running correctly
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain output and quality standards
Complete basic quality checks throughout production runs
Record production data including run times, downtime, and output levels
Clean, maintain, and recalibrate machinery at the end of each shift
Operate pallet trucks and support general production floor activities as required Trainee Machine Operator - The Fit
Basic education with good numeracy and literacy skills
Strong awareness of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
Good attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
Team player with a willingness to learn and develop Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 4:45pm
Friday: 6:00am – 10:15am
