Quality Inspector Location - Goole Pay Rate - £19.15 Umbrella per hour standard / £22.02 Umbrella (115% shift) per hour £15.38 PAYE per hour standard / £17.70 PAYE (115% shift) per hour Shift Patterns - 6am - 2:30pm 2:30pm - 10pm 2pm - 8pm on a Friday Inside IR35 Overview of Duties: Responsible for routine, daily inspection of products of Rolling Stock cars, ensuring compliance with product safety standards and best practice. Responsible for supporting the shopfloor with defect identification, data capture, and reporting for resolution. The role is also accountable for ensuring the quality of our end products, for right-first-time delivery, by providing effective end-of-line inspection. Key Accountabilities: Full Inspection of safety-critical materials and products to specification or other set criteria. Decision making against specification to ensure no unsafe / non-compliant products are released from the facility. Reporting of quality defects through the designated systems, ensuring they are sufficiently identified and recorded. Perform quality investigations to identify point of cause of a defect, and reporting to Quality/Production to enable rework / containment.
