Overview

Exciting Opportunity for Psychology and Criminology Graduates: Join Teaching Personnel! Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in the education sector while gaining valuable paid experience? Teaching Personnel is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate specialist teaching assistants to work in the Cwmbran area within a specialist client provision.


Responsibilities

* Supporting individual students in their daily routines
* Engaging them throughout the school day to help achieve specific learning objectives
* Assisting in identifying triggers and employing effective de-escalation tactics when required
* Regularly reporting on pupils' behaviors and achievements


Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

* Holds a pending or qualified degree in Psychology or Criminology
* Possesses excellent behaviour management skills
* Has strong communication abilities and a genuine passion for helping others
* Is open to training in Team Teach and Manual Handling

Compensation

The position offers a competitive pay starting at £13.75 per hour, with negotiation based on experience and performance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
