Salary £28,142 - £32,061 per annum (Pro Rata if Part Time). Full Time (37 hours) & Part Time positions available. Central Lancashire.

Role: Nights Residential Child Care Worker
Children and Family Services. Location: East Lancashire covering homes based in Burnley, Nelson, Padiham, Clitheroe, Accrington, Haslingden.
Salary: £28,142 - £32,061.
Working Conditions
* Work at different homes across Central Lancashire cluster; access to your own vehicle is essential.
* Enhanced pay rates apply for night and weekend work, including a 25% uplift for hours worked between 11pm and 8am (subject to a start time before 6am). Weekend work may attract up to 33% additional pay when part of the contractual working week.

Our Children’s Residential Service is expanding and we have exciting opportunities within Central Lancashire due to the opening of a new home in the area.

Responsibilities
* Work through the night while staff are asleep.
* Ensure the home is secure during the night.
* Provide a friendly face to support children if they wake and address any issues.
* Listen and engage children in 1:1 work around feelings, emotions, and behaviours.
* Link with other professionals (social workers, schools, police, health workers) to ensure children’s needs are met.
