Monday Friday 40 hours with potential for overtime
The Ideal candidate for this Health & Safety Officer role will have a background in Manufacturing and / or Construction projects. CDM background is essential.
Health & Safety Officer role & responsibilities :
* Permits to work
* Creation of risk assessments and method statements
* Management of compliance towards H&S on the construction site
* Completion of all H&S documentation
* Toolbox talks
* The Health & Safety Manager will oversee day-to-day H&S operations
* Maintain and improve H&S management systems (CDM background beneficial)
* Ensure compliance with key regulations including COSHH, PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, and DSEAR
* Conduct gap analyses, implement improvements
* Fire and risk assessments; building safety
* Engaging stakeholders across construction site
Health & Safety Officer Experience :
* First aid trained
* CDM understanding is key
* Candidates must come from Manufacturing / construction background
* NEBOSH general
* Strong auditing experience to ISO standards
