Job Purpose
Responsible for assisting the Internal Account Management team with good service and admin support to all customers.
Main duties include:
1. Processing a high volume of customer sales orders.
2. Checking prices and contracts are up to date.
3. Overseeing the completion of back orders
4. Liaise with customers and suppliers by telephone, fax and e-mail
5. Ensure accurate placement of orders with manufacturers and suppliers
6. Reporting monthly sales results to the sales team
7. Supporting the Internal Account Manager and BDM with general operations to help reach the team's objectives.
8. Taking phone calls from customers.
9. Communicating internally important feedback from customers.
10. Following up Order confirmations and quotations
11. Organise Express and container deliveries direct to site
12. Organise UK transportation to site where necessary
13. Acknowledge ongoing status of order to the customer
14. Prepare Sales Order documentation for dispatch
15. Preparing and following up quotations
Requirements
16. Experience in Sales Order Processing, customer service support and administration
17. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels
18. Highly-motivated self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic
19. Critical attention to detail
20. High degree of personal integrity and professional accountability
21. Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
22. System savvy
