Virtual Account Manager - Honda
Location: Nantwich/ Hybrid
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £30,000 + £4,000 Bonus + ROI Company Benefits
The Role
The Virtual Account Manager role supports Honda as they expand their presence in corporate and fleet. This position has a strong focus on warm sale, opportunity identification and account development.
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for automotive sales and relationship management. If you’re commercially minded, proactive, and enjoy building long term value rather than chasing short term wins, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Management & Prospecting
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with fleet decision makers through regular, targeted contact
* Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with Honda’s corporate and fleet objectives
* Analyse company rate books and vehicle bandings to position Honda competitively
* Prepare bespoke quotes and terms for customers and prospects
* Manage CRM records and maintain accurate communications for customers and prospects
Stakeholder Management
* Liaise with clients, leasing company account managers, and dealerships to manage relationships
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project targets
* Represent both ROI and Honda professionally with all contacts
Operational Delivery
* Deliver strong sales and account management performance to meet agreed targets
* Follow company and project procedures for quality, reporting, and client engagement
* Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge
* Attend training, client meetings, and events as required
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Business Development, Virtual Account Management, or similar commercial roles
* Understanding of fleet or corporate automotive sales is desirable
* Confident relationship builder with consultative and strategic selling approach
* Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, Sage) and MS Office Suite
* Skilled in video conferencing tools (MS Teams, Zoom)
* Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* High attention to detail, including data analysis and reporting
* Friendly, professional, and positive outlook; able to build rapport easily
