In Talent Acquisition we often occupy a very privileged position in a business where we get a high and broad vantage point, and a comprehensive view of what a company does from department to department. Why is that important? Well, at a business like Smith+Nephew it means we get to see a large section of the product life cycle and our customer interaction, and when the products we design and manufacture exist to help patients, that's an exceptionally privileged position.
We're currently looking to add a Recruitment Marketing Specialist to the team. We believe we have an amazing story to tell to talent who maybe don't know us yet, and others who do. We want to showcase a little of who we are as an organisation, what we're about, and why we do what we do.
What will you be doing?
Own our EVP and helping to shape our strategy around marketing to talent who have and are yet to engage with our brand. While you will help to shape the strategy, much of the execution will be yours to deliver. We will leave ample space for creativity to ensure we deliver stories and messages that are engaging to potential talent.
You will partner with recruiters and TA leadership globally to help empower them with the tools and knowledge to deliver branded and consistent messaging to talent external to the business. With that, we need someone who's used to working with an ATS (Workday preferred) and a CRM (Beamery preferred). There's currently a lot of untapped potential with the tools we have implemented, meaning there's significant opportunity to come into the business and deliver real and tangible value by delivering consistent campaigns to our talent community and other digital channels like social media/LinkedIn.
What does success look like?
Success in the role will be determined by multiple aspects. As we're talking about recruitment marketing, we're keen to understand where and how we can recruit people to the business quicker. While we ultimately want to recruit better and faster, we also want people who are engaged with our brand and our business. We believe that when we achieve that we can help the business grow and evolve quicker by bringing new and exciting talent to the organisation who are ready for the journey with us.
Successful candidates would need the following:
1. Experience in a Recruitment Marketing position, preferably in a large matrixed organisation delivering marketing campaigns through various digital channels
2. Experience developing a company's EVP, branding and storytelling to a recruitment market
3. Experience driving a marketing strategy closely aligned and linked to Talent Acquisition and recruitment processes
