About the role
Senior Operations Manager for the Pensions Administration team at Barnett Waddingham. Full‑time, permanent, hybrid role based in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Guildford, Cheltenham, Bristol, Birmingham or Amersham.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day‑to‑day operation of the Pension Administration Change Team services and act as line manager for Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Support roles.
* Manage, organise and motivate the team to provide a quality service, ensuring service standards are met and control procedures are followed.
* Play a significant role in short‑to‑medium‑term planning; adapt plans and priorities to address resource issues and operational challenges, considering wider change deliverables and managing expectations.
* Contribute to long‑term planning of resourcing and system developments to align with future change needs and support business development opportunities.
* Identify and provide solutions to complex problems.
* Manage operational issues and conflicts, remove barriers, communicate with stakeholders and escalates when required.
Qualifications
* Financial services experience is essential.
* Appropriate Change Management qualification (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
* Change delivery expertise.
* Strong leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
