Role: Banking Representative
As a Banking Representative, you will interact with our customers as the 'face' of Metro Bank, displaying sound knowledge of our products and services and delivering exceptional customer service.
What you will do:
1. Be at the forefront of customer interactions, providing exceptional service and personalized products and services tailored to customer needs.
2. Work as part of a team, prioritizing tasks based on customer demand and store objectives.
3. Act as a brand ambassador in the community, supporting the store to be the number one community bank.
4. Stay updated on regulatory and non-regulatory training and changes to ensure compliance and fairness in all transactions.

Working Arrangements & Training:
This position is a fixed-term contract until 30th September 2026. Metro Bank Orpington working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:45 am - 5:15 pm, and Saturdays, 8:15 am - 4:30 pm. We are currently hiring for 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days.
What you will need:
* Ability to build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail even under pressure.
* Profound understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for both yourself and Metro Bank's customers.
* Proficiency in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Capability to deliver outstanding customer experiences within a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in finance or banking is not always required, but experience in handling customer service queries and operating in environments with controlled processes is essential.
