Job Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee and deliver high‑quality interior fit‑out projects across commercial and specialised environments. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the project team, coordinating subcontractors, planning and managing programme, controlling costs, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.
You will manage projects from pre‑construction through to handover, ensuring effective communication with clients, design teams, subcontractors and suppliers. The Project Manager will be proactive in identifying project risks, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships to support repeat business. This role requires a strong understanding of fit‑out methodologies, M&E coordination, and sequencing, with a consistent focus on client satisfaction and quality delivery.
Pre‑Construction
* Review project scope, drawings and specifications, ensuring clarity of design intent.
* Support tender reviews, programme development and construction methodology planning.
* Participate in client and design team meetings, providing technical and programme guidance.
* Contribute to subcontractor procurement and tender analysis in collaboration with Commercial and Pre‑Construction teams.
* Develop detailed construction programmes, phasing plans, risk registers and site logistics strategies.
Construction
* Lead day‑to‑day site management, ensuring safety, quality and compliance standards are met.
* Coordinate subcontractors across all fit‑out packages including fabric, mechanical, electrical and specialist works.
* Chair regular site progress meetings, preparing minutes, progress reports, and action logs.
* Ensure all works follow programme, implementing recovery actions where delays arise.
* Conduct site inspections, quality checks and ensure full adherence to drawings and specifications.
* Manage design queries, RFIs and coordination issues, working closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Oversee material procurement schedules, delivery coordination and on‑site resource planning.
* Maintain strong communication with the Commercial Team regarding variations, cost impacts and forecasting.
Post‑Construction
* Manage commissioning, testing, snagging and quality close‑out activities.
* Prepare handover documentation including O&M manuals, health and safety files and as‑built information.
* Conduct client training, demonstrations and final inspections to secure sign‑off.
* Support agreement of final accounts by providing accurate progress and change documentation.
* Participate in project reviews and lessons‑learned meetings to support continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
· Proven experience managing interior fit‑out projects within commercial or specialist sectors.
· Strong working knowledge of construction processes, M&E coordination and sequencing.
· Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
· Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
· Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability, with commercial awareness.
· Demonstrable experience managing subcontractors, programmes and site activities.
· Commitment to high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Pay: £24,420.00-£54,069.20 per year
