Your Role
* Drive our strategy, shape offers, develop capability within the Life Science segment of the MALS market unit and lead sales and delivery work with new and existing clients.
* Business development – utilising the organisation’s pre‑existing relationships (ideally at GSK or AstraZeneca) and your own network to treble revenues in the sector over the next two years.
* Define target strategy and team composition, recruit consultants, and mentor team members for effective development.
* Engage with existing and potential clients by developing relationships with senior members of the LifeSciences sector.
* Drive consulting and technology offerings to new and existing clients, ensuring offerings are relevant and timely.
* Be an authority and thought leader.
* Ensure effective delivery and timely completion of projects in alignment with commercial goals.
* Externally bring presence and gravitas to initiate, manage and maintain board/senior‑management relationships.
* Understand and scope out challenges and potential solutions to sell and deliver top‑tier consulting and technology‑enabled business transformation work.
Your Skills and Experience
* Deep Life Sciences sector expertise across one or more parts of the pharma value chain.
* Strong personal skills: drive, determination, influencing, outstanding communication, and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience building and managing a team, providing direction, and helping others develop.
* Professionalism and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing tasks, location, priorities or ambiguity while engaging C‑level/CXO peers.
* End‑to‑end P&L experience for an account or sector within previous organisations.
Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks are required. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, but recent residence outside the UK may require additional checks. BPSS checks may also be required during the recruitment process.
