Role Overview:
As a sales manager, your goal will be to increase Nidec Elevator’s market share by finding new customers and developing business relationships.
This position covers the sales of elevators and escalators as complete packages, or partial packages (components).
Focusing on assessing & managing new opportunities from current and new customers to close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
* To be successful in this role you will proactively develop and create customer relationships.
* You will be required to be accountable for developing and growing Nidec Elevator’s position in the covered territory.
* You will communicate sales opportunities/leads with the territory business development manager.
* Ensuring you organise, document, and maintain customer correspondences & communications.
* Ensure you are timely and accurate with reporting.
* To be successful in this role you will be someone who can sell with confidence and can learn new products and their applications.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
* Relevant experience and results in sales and customer relationship management.
* Proficient in the use of modern digital devices and communication means.
* Experience in mastering customer contacts, presentations, negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, aftersales activities and obtaining basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
Desirable:
* Industry experience is desirable, but not essential. Enthusiasm in your approach to new business is just as important.
* Elevator/escalator sales experience is preferred
