Job Summary
Exciting opportunities to join our small highly skilled team in a busy Ophthalmic department. All training is provided in this specialty.
Responsibilities
* Respond to highly unpredictable work patterns and frequent changes in urgent care department.
* Take responsibility on a rotational basis in absence of Nurse Manager, managing staff allocation and smooth running.
* Organise duty roster and cover for sickness short notice, order bank staff, sign time sheets.
* Participate in planning and development of Ophthalmic service through working parties and peer group meetings.

* NMC Registration (Essential)
* Interview (Essential)
* Demonstrated management abilities (Desirable)
* Ophthalmology demonstrable experience (Desirable)
* CPD proven evidence (Desirable)

Benefits & Salary
Band 6 – Salary £38,682 to £46,580 per annum pro rata. Permanent contract. Full-time or part-time. Location: REI OPD/UC, 3 Alpha Way, Plymouth PL5 5ZF.
