Estimator Required

Estimator Role:
Overview:
Responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and residential projects, including Mechanical & Electrical, HVAC, and multi-skilled services.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare tenders and cost estimates for PPM, reactive, and project works.
*
Interpret specifications, drawings, and schedules to produce accurate take-offs.
*
Source and analyse subcontractor/supplier quotes.
*
Conduct site visits and liaise with technical teams to define scope.
*
Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and ensure compliance with regulations.
*
Support bid submissions, presentations, and post-tender reviews.
*
Maintain awareness of market trends and pricing in the FM sector
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in estimating within Facilities Management, M&E, or HVAC projects.
*
Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance, installations, and project-based FM services and building services
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schedules.
*
Proficient in MS Excel and estimating software (e.g. Causeway, SimPRO, etc.). - Desirable
*
Familiarity with CAFM systems, and relevant FM compliance standards.
*
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
*
Strong communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
*
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Engineering, or similar (HNC/HND/Degree desirable).
